Loretta Murphy received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Calgary in 1998. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Loretta worked as a Critical Care nurse and educator for over a decade.
Throughout her legal career, Loretta has practiced primarily in litigation with a focus on personal injury from both a plaintiff and insurance defence perspective. She has applied her unique expertise to achieve the best results for her clients. Loretta has also provided opinions on medical aspects of family law and disability insurance matters. In addition, Loretta has conducted trials and represented clients at the Alberta Court of Queens’ Bench and the Court of Appeal, as well as, various administrative tribunals.
Loretta is an active member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association and practices personal injury litigation for injured parties at Pipella Law.
